Opening Sequence

My Amsterdam timelapse footage was licensed and used in the opening sequence of T2 Trainspotting, directed by Danny Boyle.

The footage establishes Amsterdam at the beginning of the film, using the movement, rhythm and energy of the city as part of the transition into the story.

Originally created as part of my independent timelapse work, the footage became part of a major international feature film – a great example of how location-based imagery can move from my own archive onto the big screen.
