Live Visuals
A visual collaboration with The Hip Abduction, translating one of their songs into a cinematic journey designed for the screens behind the band during live shows.
I built the visual story around a simple progression: starting in the cities, moving into the countryside and open landscapes, and finally arriving beneath the Northern Lights.
Rather than illustrating every part of the song literally, the edit follows its mood and energy – using changes in environment, movement, light and scale to create a journey that develops together with the music.
Footage originally captured across different places and moments became one continuous visual narrative, taking the audience from the urban world into increasingly remote landscapes before ending in the Arctic night.
Created specifically to work as large-scale background visuals during live performances, the project brought together two things I love working with: cinematic landscapes and music.
From cities to open landscapes to the Aurora – one song, one visual journey.
